Freetown to Tiama

After a long sea journey our container arrived in Freeport, Sierra Leone in mid August.  As it takes sometime  for goods to get released from the port, it wasn’t until mid September that the last of the container contents were being transported to Tiama..

New tools

We were asked by the instructors at the Ann Hay training school in Taiama for some really good scissors, for cutting out fabric. They are not cheap , but two Kori supporters came to our rescue. Sue and Sallyann financed the best that John Lewis could provide, and Rose is taking them in her luggage , when she visits Sierra Leone later this month.  The work the trainees were producing before the lockdown was very professional, let’s hope they get the production line moving again soon.
